Travelling and Transfer

The congress will take place on May 14-16 2014, in the Pacheco Center, Pachecolaan/Boulevard Pachéco 13, B-1000 Brussels, Belgium.

Airport
Brussels Airport is the most convenient airport in terms of transfer to the center of Brussels.
Remark: Brussels South Charleroi Airport is located about 50 km from the center of Brussels. Transfer to the center by public transport takes at least an hour.

Public transport - The Pacheco Center can be reached in different ways by public transport:
Train NMBS/SNCB :
  - 14 min walk from Brussel-Noord/Bruxelles-Nord
  - 4 min walk from Station Congres/Gare de Bruxelles-Congrès
Metro MIVB/STIB : stop Kruidtuin/Botanique on lines 2 and 6
Bus MIVB/STIB  : stop Sint-Joost-ten-node Kruidtuin

Tips and tricks:

*Please consider using the metro MIVB/STIB when you plan your itinerary in the center of Brussels because of the numerous traffic jams by day. For an underground map please visit http://www.stib.be/netplan-plan-reseau.html?l=en, and select Underground Maps.
*Use Botanique as metro stop in the Journey Planner on stib.be.
*Two other bus companies, De Lijn and TEC, connect Brussels with other cities in the country. All three bus companies have their own ticketing system. One-ticket-for-all does not exist.

Rent a bike
Rent a bike - The Pacheco center is located between station nr 31 (Musée de la Bande dessinée/Stripmuseum – Boulevard Pachéco/Pachecolaan) and station nr 55 (Botanique/Kruidtuin – Avenue Galilée/Galileelaan).

Most nearby paying public parking the Pacheco Center is the Car park Pacheco, on Pachecolaan/Boulevard Pachéco 7, B-1000 Brussels.
